The forum was sponsored by Hebei Province Industry and Information Department and co-sponsored by e-works and Hebei Jikai Group. More than 200 people from local manufacturing enterprises attended the meeting. The forum mainly focused on exchanging latest information technology and application dynamics and exploring deep integration methods and implementation strategies.

Mr. Juntang Zhou, Head of Hebei Province Industry and Information Technology and Mr. Yun Ma Department Director attended the forum. Mr. Zhou delivered an open speech on the forum. Firstly, he introduced the status of industrialization and information integration in Hebei province and affirmed the integration effects in different areas, industries, and enterprises. He hopes that this forum will drive Hebei's industrialization and information integration. Later he analyzed integration challenges and introduced Hebei province industrialization and information integration promotion effects and requirements.

Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO gave a keynote speech on Manufacturing Industry IT Application Evolution and Hotspot Analysis, in which he pointed out that the key factors for manufacturers winning the competence are innovation ability, supply chain integration, and comprehensive service ability. Deep integration of industrialization and information technology is becoming a breach in manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading. Dr. Huang also mentioned the importance of cloud computing, e-commerce, social network, BYOD, internet of things, and industrial big data.

Mr. Pansheng Zhao, Vice General Manager of Hebei Jikai Group, Ms Cuigai Bao, CIO of Shijiazhung Kingda Pump Industry Group, Ms. Tiexin Gao from Shineway Pharmaceutical shared their best practice of the deep integration. Two experts from other provinces were also invited to the forum to exchange their experience: Ms. Ke Shen, CIO of Beijing Petroleum Machinery and Mr. Hailing Wang, Manager of Goldwind Science& Technology.

Industry well-known software vendors Epicor, Timekey, and FlowPortal all brought their latest products and solutions of management, mobile, customer relationship, and business process management.

Mr. Wei Du, e-works Consulting Director gave professional suggestions and measures against difficulties in applying manufacturing information technology applications. Ms. Yanfen Jiang, Membership Service Director introduced –works member service system and e-works CIO club.

In salon session, guests had heated discussions on CIO's role in guiding enterprise IT construction, IT application effects, and difficulties. Besides, topics like big data, cloud computing, BYOD, mobile, and social networks were also mentioned.

The forum provides an experience exchanging opportunity for CIOs and IT managers. It benefits their career and development. In next three months, e-works will hold the forum and CIO forum in Harbin, Changzhou, Yangzhou, and Nanchang to assist industrialization and information technology integration in China.
