At the opening of the conference, Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO gave a speech on Development and Application of Intelligent Manufacturing Technologies. Dr. Huang thoroughly analyzed the connotation of intelligent manufacturing. He said that right now China is still in the stage of smart manufacturing level. Many manufacturing CEOs and CIOs also came to share their successful practice and experiences. Mr. Weixing Guo, CEO of Jack Sewing Machine shared their development, information systems and future planning. As a traditional manufacturer focusing on sewing machines, Jack has been transforming and upgrading with the help of information systems. Mr. Guo believes that one company wants to exist and success in the market it has to keep investing.

Mr. Mingwen Zhang, Haitian Plastics Machinery CTO interpreted intelligent manufacturing from the view of IT department. Mr. Yuejun Gu, Younger Group, Information Director shared the IT status in Younger and mainly introduced their mobile applications. Mr. Shaoyin Dai, Sinopacific Offshore and Engineering, Information Management Department Director combined with their own practice and experience deeply analyzed how to deal with requirements, design-driven, customized manufacturing, frequent changing, and other challenges in complex manufacturing projects.
