Zotye taps former BYD sales chief as president
Zotye Holding Group has named BYD Auto Co.'s former sales chief, Xia Zhibing, as its president.
Xia, 38, left BYD last August after the company's sales plunged.
Zotye, a private company located in Yongkang of east China's Zhejiang province, is a small SUV manufacturer as well as an engine and transmission parts maker.
In the first 11 months of 2011, Zotye sold 85,698 vehicles, down 4 percent year-on-year, according to LMC Automotive.
