Geely aims to lift sales 10% with 7 new models
Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. aims to increase its sales 10 percent this year as it launches seven new models.
The private Chinese automaker plans to launch four cars, two SUVs and an MPV this year, according to the company's Web site.
Geely -- which sells vehicles under the Gleagle, Emgrand and Englon brands -- did not indicate how its new models would be branded. The automaker has phased out its Geely brand.
Earlier this month, Geely named An Conghui, 41, as CEO and president. An was promoted after he helped launch the company's Emgrand mid-sized cars.
Last year, Geely's sales rose 4 percent to 430,000 units.
