British talent may join China's large aircraft project
The AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Corporation Limited (ACAE) officially launched overseas recruitment for its China-made large aircraft engine project on March 23. This is the first time China's aviation industry has sought to recruit overseas talent.
A work team composed of human resources staff from the ACAE arrived in London on March 23, where the first "China Large Aircraft Engine Project Recruitment" will be launched the same day (local time).
The ACAE plans to form a research and development center as well as a management team composed of 500 people by the end of 2011. It is expected that overseas talent will account for 40 percent of its new hires in 2011.
