Locally made car prices drop slightly
Passenger vehicle prices in January were down 0.2 percent from December and decreased 3.8 percent compared with the same month last year, according to a survey in 36 medium and large-sized cities by the Price Supervision Department of the National Development and Reform Commission.
Prices of commercial vehicles in January increased 0.15 percent from the prior month and 2.6 percent from a year ago.
The survey also showed that prices of locally made vehicles declined 1 percent year-on-year, while imported-car prices rose by 6.6 percent.
