IMAGINiT Technologies to Sponsor Living Building Challenge Road Show

RAND Worldwide® announced that its IMAGINiT Technologies (link: http://www.rand.com/imaginit) division has partnered with the Cascadia Region Green Building Council (link: http://cascadiagbc.org/) as a major sponsor of their Living Building Challenge (link: http://ilbi.org/) Road Show. The Living Building Challenge was launched by the Cascadia Region Green Building Council to encourage the creation of living buildings, sites and communities in countries around the world.

“We see an increasing number of customers making more sustainable design decisions,” commented Bob Heeg, executive vice president, IMAGINiT Technologies. “As customer demand for sustainable design solutions continues to grow, IMAGINiT industry experts are working with clients at every stage of the design-to-build process to provide implementation services, define best practices and train customers on the Autodesk suite of design tools that simplify and enable sustainable decisions. Being a part of the Living Building Challenge is an opportunity to connect with innovators that are at the forefront of this trend and understand how we can further tailor our services to meet their needs.”

“The purpose of the Challenge is straightforward,” stated Jason F. McLennan, CEO of Cascadia. “It defines the most advanced measure of sustainability in the built environment possible today and acts to diminish the gap between current limits and ideal solutions. We are pleased to have IMAGINiT on board as a sponsor. They understand the importance of sustainable design and the technology and services their experts provide are an integral part of making this vision a reality.”

Jason F. McLennan and Eden Brukman of the International Living Building Institute, as well as other expert faculty, will travel to cities throughout the United States and Canada to provide workshops about the Living Building Challenge. Geared toward all advanced green building practitioners and influencers, these workshops are designed to identify and discuss strategies, as well as barriers to and incentives for green projects. IMAGINiT will be sponsoring the Living Building events in these cities on the following dates:
