Bearing seminar in China is bilingual

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction will hold a Morgoil Symposium in China this September that will feature bearing seminars in both Chinese and English.

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction will hold a Morgoil Symposium in China this September that will feature bearing seminars in both Chinese and English.

The event will take place in Shanghai, China.

In making the announcement, Gabriel Royo, Vice President of Morgoil and Rolling Mill Spares and Services, said that the Chinese version, which is especially designed for Morgoil's growing number of customers in China, is scheduled for September 14-16.

The English version, which is offered for all other customers from outside China, will be held from September 18-20.

The seminars, which are similar to Morgoil's first seminar held last year in Worcester, is designed to train participants on advanced Morgoil bearing maintenance and service techniques.

'The purpose,' he said, 'is to provide the attendees with expertise that leads to longer bearing service life, improved mill productivity, and reliability'.

'Through these Symposiums, we plan to transfer knowledge to our customers in the Morgoil bearing operation, maintenance and its interaction with other critical mill components'.

'The understanding of the interactions between Morgoil bearings and the mill is one of the strengths of our organization, something that no one else is able to offer.' He added, 'The courses are recommended for roll shop, maintenance, and mill operations supervisors and management, along with engineering, purchasing, management and mill personal involved in the selection of oil film and roller bearings.' Subjects being offered include: Oil film bearing theory; Morgoil Bearing Designs and Options; Morgoil Bearing Maintenance; Morgoil Lubricants; Lubrication Systems and their maintenance; Morgoil alternatives; and Oil Film Bearing as Compared to Rolling Element Bearings.
