Smart Manufacturing Forum 2017 Chongqing

There are one and two parallel sessions. The theme of General Session is Chinese Smart Manufacturing Roadmap in Coming Decade. The themes of two parallel sessions are Smart Factory Planning and Implementation and SAP Smart Manufacturing Solution.

Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO

On the morning general session, Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO interpreted the connotations of smart manufacturing, promotion strategy, and typical mistakes. He said that the goal of smart manufacturing is the intelligence of the whole manufacturing value chain. It compromises smart product, smart service, smart equipment, smart production line, smart workshop, smart factory, smart R&D, smart management, smart logistic and supply chain, and smart decision.

Mr. Jinhao Wu, VP of Management Innovation and IT Center, Chongqing Chang’an Automobile shared their practice in C2M and online customization. Chang’an Automobile set up a data-driven manufacturing model and transformed business successfully. Mr. Tianhao Yang, CIO of Chongqing Dajiang Millison Die Casting shared their experience in implementing industrialization and IT integration standard as well as building smart factory.

Several international and domestic mainstream software and hardware providers presented their smart manufacturing solutions, including IBM, SIE Consulting, Xiaoshouyi, ZQSOFT, and Asus. Mr. Guangrui Qian, IBM Greater China Cognition System Division Manager talked about how to leverage IBM cognitive system to realize smart manufacturing. Mr. Wenxian Li, MES Senior Consultant of SIE Smart Factory shared A Journey of Manufacturing Transformation. Mr. Ning Zhang, Xiaoshouyi South China General Manager talked about how to leverage mobile CRM to manage sales. Mr. Zhongshan Chu, ZQSOFT talked about the fourth industrial revolution and human machine interconnection. Mr. Xiang Gao, Asus Manager introduced Asus business computer solutions.

Mr. Wei Du, e-works VP shared the planning and implementation strategy of smart factory.

Mr. Zhixian Zhang, CEO of Chongqing Yinhe Experimental Equipment Company shared their experience in integration and implementation of industrialization and information technology. Mr. Qiquan Hu, CIO of Weichai (Chongqing) Automotive Company shared Weichai Automotive’s IT application status and trial of smart manufacturing. Mr. Rui Liang, CEO of Chongqing Qianwei Technologies Group Meter Manufacture Filiale shared Qianwei’s practice in smart manufacturing engineering.

In this session, several vendors introduced their smart manufacturing offerings, including Chongqing Siou (SOA) Information Technology, Beijing Anolesoft Info & Tech, Teambition, and HIKVISION. Mr. Wanqin Yu, CEO of Chongqing Siou introduced Siou’s Smart Manufacturing Interconnected Collaboration Platform—SOA-IMIP. Mr. Jiande Sun, Technology Director, Beijing Anolesoft shared ABP_J2EE based MES application case in Shenyang Aircraft. Mr. Zhenyu, Pu, Teambition Southwest China Director shared Collaboration for Agile Organization. Mr. Shaojie Yu, Hikvision Business Solution Director introduced Hikvision solutions for Chinese Manufacturing.

In the parallel session of SAP smart manufacturing solution, Mr. Guang Hu, SAP Industry and Commercial Business Unit South China Sales Director introduced SAP’s development in China, main solutions, and latest technologies.

Dr. Jun Xu, e-works President

Dr. Jun Xu, e-works President analyzed the hotspots in smart manufacturing applications. He stressed the importance of digitalization and lean production. He said that most small and medium enterprises need to deepen their digitalization applications in a long term. He also gave some practical and down-to-earth suggestions for boosting smart manufacturing in enterprises.

Mr. Jun Yu, Juewei Group CIO shared yesterday, today and tomorrow of Juewei food’s IT construction journey and demonstrate their SAP applications.

In panel discussion session, guests discussed about the drive force of smart manufacturing in enterprises, its difficulties and breakthroughs.

Q&A and Salon

During Q&A and Salon session, guests and audiences had face-to-face communication and provided them with precious experience. The forum closed successfully. It offers a way for helping Chinese manufacturers better understand and apply smart manufacturing technologies and assisting them on the way to success in the ever-changing economy.
