A forum aimed at regulating the brake fluid industry in China was recently organized by the China Association for Standardization, the National Administration Office for Brake Fluid Production Permits and Sinopec-owned Great Wall Lubricant Co Ltd.

The forum called for industry associations, government bodies and companies to tighten controls and supervision over the brake fluid production sector.

According to official figures, about 50 per cent of brake fluid products in China do not meet the national standard.
