?BEIJING (AFX) - China expects its annual cement output to reach 1.25 bln tons by 2010, up from 1.06 bln tons in 2005, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's top economic planning agency, said.
According to a statement published on the NDRC's website, China's cement production grew 10 pct in 2005, compared with 12 pct annual growth between 2000 and 2005.
Major cement firms posted revenue of 260.8 bln yuan in 2005, up 16.2 pct, it said.

The NDRC also said the 2010 targets for the industry factor in greater efficiency in the use of resources.
