Konica Minolta to Focus on China's Copier&Printer Market

Successively, its China strategy has also been clearly exposed along with the commencement of its newly-founded subsidiary for office equipment sales, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (CHINA) Co., Ltd. (BCN), which will exclusively take charge of the sales of Konica Minolta copier and printer in China market.
The Shanghai-based BCN, set up later after the announcement of the business removal in January, is to take over all of the business under Konica Minolta International Trading (SHANGHAI) Co., Ltd. and related sales and after-sale of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (WUHAN) Co., Ltd..

In 2005, Konica Minolta's digital copier takes up 15% of Chinese market, and 10% for its printer products.
