China's CNPC Fushun Petrochemical gets government approval on ethylene project
CNPC Fushun Petrochemical Co Ltd has received government approval for its ethylene project.
?BEIJING (AFX) - China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), the country's largest oil producer, said its unit CNPC Fushun Petrochemical Co Ltd has received government approval for its ethylene project.
The project will have an annual ethylene capacity of about 800,000 tons, bringing the company's total annual ethylene capacity to one mln tons.
CNPC did not disclose investment details of the project.
It said Fushun Petrochemical's annual sales are expected to be above 50 bln yuan once the project has been put into operation. It did not provide a timetable for the completion of the project.
