Nissan to debut concept sedan in Beijing
Nissan Motor Corp. plans to unveil a concept sedan and display more than 20 other models next month at the Beijing auto show.
The concept sedan was jointly styled by Nissan's design center in Beijing and its global design center in Japan, the company said. Further details were undisclosed.
"The concept expresses Nissan's passion and focus in the world's most dynamic auto market" and will feature "the Chinese digital lifestyle," the Japanese automaker said.
Also at the show, Nissan plans to display the BladeGlider concept car, a self-driving car and a number of new production models such as the Nissan Teana sedan and X-Trail SUV.
The Beijing auto show's press day is April 20. The show is open to the public April 23-29.
Nissan has a production joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Corp. In the first two months of this year, Nissan sold 167,100 vehicles in China, up 18 percent year-on-year.
