Prices for steel products in China are showing across-the board strength
?BEIJING (AFX) - Prices for steel products in China are showing across-the board strength, the China Securities Journal reported, citing an industry organization.
In February, prices began to rebound and are seen continuing to gain momentum going forward, the newspaper said, citing the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
'Last month, domestic steel product prices ended a nearly 10-month decline. By the end of the month, the price index was at 96.55, up 3.21 points month-on-month,' CISA said.
The report cited the association as saying that long products for the construction industry showed a slower price recovery, while the eastern seaboard of China showed the strongest overall price rebounds.
