GESAT enter Chinese MES market
After the installation and commissioning of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Legato® in the new Engine Assembling Plant of a well-known car manufacturer started last year in China, as a company with long-term experience in China market, GESAT and its cooperation partner GEFASOFT aim to bring their new system named Legato® into China MES market.
GESAT was established in 1989 in Germany and the headquartered is located in Frankfurt. The company is an independent engineering company and the scope of technical services including Automation, electrical measurement and controlling, satellite communication and EDP/IT.
GESAT set up its representative office in Shanghai, 1998. As a supplier of automation technology, GESAT has built and maintained a good partnership with some large companies such as ABB, GE, and Siemens for more than 10 years. GESAT also carried on some cooperation projects in China with well-known companies like Shanghai Krupp Stainless and Wacker Chemical. As a result of the steady long-term development in China and increasingly deep understanding of the importance of the Chinese market, GESAT decided to establish a subsidiary in China-GESAT Automation & Technique (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.. GESAT(Shanghai) has carried on many projects in the area of automation technology in China, at the same time it is quite active in the generalization of Legato® system in China market with a close cooperation with the innovation leader of MES-Systems GEFASOFT AG. In last November, the Roll Out of the Legato® system for the new plant of a well-known car manufacturer was finished in Shenyang, and the company successfully completed its first MES project in China. GESAT German and Chinese engineers realized the complete project in Chinese language for user interfaces, documentation and training.
