Total to supply lubricants to Great Wall's vehicles
Great Wall Motor Co., China's largest SUV maker, has selected Total Lubricants as a recommended lubricant supplier for its after-sales service network.
Under an agreement signed last week, Total Lubricants initially will be granted access to Great Wall's service network in Russia, Chile and Italy to market its Quartz automotive lubricants.
Total Lubricants, a subsidiary of the French oil company Total S.A., has sponsored Great Wall's car racing team.
Great Wall, headquartered in Baoding in north China's Hebei province, sold more than 487,000 vehicles in 2011. Of those, 83,000 vehicles were exported, according to the automaker.
