Taiwan's leading food manufacturing company, the President Enterprises Corporation, will spend 100 million U.S. dollars to build a new factory in east China's Jiangsu province, local authorities said.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the factory's construction was held on Monday in the city of Suzhou. The factory, as well as another 335 related projects, will be built in the province at a total cost of 188.26 billion yuan (about 30 billion U.S. dollars), according to the municipal government.
