Lenovo Appoints New General Manager For Taiwan
According to reports in Taiwanese local media, PC maker Lenovo has announced plans to appoint Justin Liang as its new general manager for the Taiwan region.
In his new position, Liang will be responsible for Lenovo's overall strategy planning and sales business in Taiwan.
Liang has 16 years' experience in the information technology industry, specially in sales and management sectors. In 1995, he joined IBM's PC business department and then was promoted to sales manager of the department; in 2005, he joined Lenovo as business deputy general manager in Taiwan; and from 2008 to 2009, he was sales director for Dell Taiwan. Before returning to Lenovo, Liang worked for the IT business department of Samsung Taiwan as general manager for one year, mainly in charge of the sales of digital and audio-visual products.
