Apparel Manufacturer Mammut Sports Group AG Adopts Dassault Systemes’ ENOVIA V6

Dassault Systemes (DS) (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that Switzerland-based Mammut Sports Group AG has selected Dassault Systemes’ ENOVIA V6 solution running on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to manage its development processes from initial product design all the way to sourcing, manufacturing and sales.

The Mammut Sports Group AG designs high-quality durable alpine and trekking equipment, including apparel, footwear and climbing gear. The company needed to group information related to all its products in one database and replace manual, time-consuming methods for data search and consolidation that left room for error when communicating internally and with external suppliers. Providing all stakeholders with easy access to the “single version of the truth” improves time to market, reduces costs and leaves more time for innovation.

Mammut chose ENOVIA V6’s Apparel Accelerators for Design & Development and for Sourcing & Production to address the entire product development to manufacturing cycle. Based on industry best practices for apparel design, the ENOVIA Apparel Accelerators provide pre-defined work processes, data models, and document management capabilities that reduce development time and costs. And with Adobe Illustrator integration in ENOVIA V6, designers can create and access data in ENOVIA from within the Adobe interface.
