Ford delivers 368,103 vehicles in first 8 months
Ford Motor Co and its joint ventures in China delivered 368,103 vehicles between January and August this year, a 42 percent increase over with the same period last year.
The company's China sales in August alone reached 44,047 cars, 24 percent more than a year ago.
Ford's joint venture with Chang'an sold 251,046 vehicles last month including more than 13,000 units of its star product Ford Focus.
Jiangling Motor Co, 30 percent owned by Ford, reported August sales of 15,572 commercial vehicles, surging 89 percent compared with the same month last year.
