Nowy Styl Group implements IFS Applications in its Western Europe Companies
Nowy Styl Group, a leading manufacturer of office furniture in Europe and a supplier of seating to a number of stadiums at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa , has implemented IFS Applications in its French company. The solution covers distribution and finance, and brings the number of IFS users in the Nowy Styl Group to 950. The implementation in the distribution company in France is a further commitment by Nowy Styl to implementing IFS Applications as a corporate standard throughout the Group.
Nowy Styl France is implementing IFS Applications to help integrate management within the organization, which currently consists of more than 10 companies operating in 11 countries. The goal of the project is to improve operational efficiency within the Group, mainly by simplifying the supply chain, streamlining customer support, reducing order delivery times, and enabling corporate controlling and accounting.
Nowy Styl Group has used IFS Applications in Poland for the last 10 years. The solution originally consisted of IFS Applications components for finance, distribution and manufacturing. Dynamic growth and numerous structural changes in the Group led to a new contract being signed with IFS in 2006. The use of IFS Applications was also extended to cover Group companies in Ukraine, Slovakia and Russia. New components of IFS Applications were also purchased as part of the agreement, including IFS Repetitive Manufacturing, IFS Customer Schedules and IFS Supplier Schedules.
Early in 2009, the management of Nowy Styl Group decided to implement the solutions used in Poland in its companies in France, Germany and in the UK.
“The Group aims to operate as one business organization regardless of the individual companies being separate legal entities and dispersed geographically. An integrated, standard ERP solution is a necessary infrastructure, and will house and optimize all the Group’s business processes. The implementation of IFS Applications in Nowy Styl’s distribution companies in Western Europe is not only a transfer of advanced information technologies from Poland, but most of all the pursuit of optimized business processes throughout the Group,” said Rafal Chwast, Vice President of the Board, Financial Director and responsible for IT in Nowy Styl Group.
“ERP systems such as IFS Applications help streamline the operations of international multi-site enterprises to reduce costs and improve the precision of the sales process, both of which ultimately result in better customer service,” said Marcin Taranek, CEO, IFS CEE.
More than 10 companies in the furniture sector in Poland are using IFS Applications, including ProfiM Sp. z o.o., SITS Sp. z o.o., Com.40 Limited Sp. z o.o., PPHU Correct Sp. z o.o. and Paged Meble S.A..
