Jaguar Recalls Defective Cars In China

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said on Thursday that Jaguar Land Rover Auto Trade (Shanghai) would recall 704 imported 2010 Jaguar XF sedans due to a problem in the fuel pipe of the vehicles.

It is learned that the faulty cars were all made between October 22, 2008, and September 24, 2009. The problem is that the fuel pipe is too long, so it may become twisted and prevent fuel from flowing efficiently, which eventually may bring unforeseen danger to the drivers of the cars.

The importer stated that it would advise affected customers to have their cars checked and repaired free of charge at the nearest maintenance center authorized by the company.
