Brilliance China warns of loss in H1
Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd on August 07 said it expected to post a loss for the first half, compared with a profit a year earlier.
During the first six months of 2009, sales volume of the Zhonghua sedans manufactured by China's eighth-largest carmaker did not reached break-even level as a result of a change in product mix, it said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
"The company may consider partially writing off the value of intangible assets relating to Zhonghua sedans," it said.
