Present at the ceremony were Gan Lin, Vice Governor of Hunan Provincial People's Government, Xu Qin, Member of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shenzhen, and other leaders of the Shenzhen Government. Also present were customer representatives of Kingdee, such as China Merchants Group and Vanke Group.

 

This is the second Kingdee Software Park, and the first is Shanghai Kingdee Software Park that was complete in December, 2007.

 

Shenzhen Kingdee Software Park is the headquarters of Kingdee Group. It is advantageously located in the south part of Shenzhen High-Tech Park, to its east is Shahe Golf Court and to its south across the sea is Hong Kong. The Park has a floor space of 60,000 square meters at the cost of RMB 280 million yuan. In the Park, there are open office spaces, well-equipped conference center, data center, children-care center, body-building center, and canteen. The Park can accommodate 3,000 people to work here. Designed by the world-class architect, Shenzhen Kingdee Software Park is simple, modern and green. With the double curtain wall, the Park is environment-friendly and energy-saving, and its special shape has made it the landmark building for high-tech enterprises in Shenzhen and the whole country alike.
 
In the opening ceremony, Xu Qin, Member of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shenzhen, remarked, "I hope Shenzhen Kingdee Software Park can attract more senior software talents to work in Shenzhen," and commented that "during the fight against the financial crisis, Kingdee, as a representative of the high-tech enterprises, not only manages its own business, but also helps more and more enterprises to raise their competitiveness, letting them share the Chinese management wisdom of the 21st century."

 

The opening ceremony was stringed by three themes: philosophy and management, art and life, and thanksgiving and dream. Fu Peirong, the sinologist from Taiwan gave a lecture; Xu Weixin, a famous painter of China, held an exhibition of paintings; Xu Shaochun, Chairman of Board of Directors of Kingdee International Software Group, described the Shenzhen Kingdee Software Park as "a city of love, life and dream; a spiritual homeland of the clients and staff members of Kingdee. Here we will create values, experience life and feed back to the society."

 

Started in Shenzhen 16 years ago, Kingdee Software has become a top notch company in the management software field of China, with a custom base of 600,000 users. With the foundation of Beijing Kingdee Software Park that covers 213 mu, the triangular pattern (Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing) will take shape, with each park fully exploiting the advantages of local political, economic, cultural and talent centers in the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Bohai Bay Rim Economic Region respectively. By attracting senior software developers and management talents and meeting each other's insufficiencies, the three Kingdee Software Parks will drive Kingdee on its way to become the leader in the global enterprise management software and e-business application solution market.
