China Jan-June car sales up 25.6 pct yr/yr
China's passenger cars sales rose 25.6 percent in the first six months of 2009 to 4.534 million units, the Xinhua news agency said on July 09, citing the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
According to Reuters calculations, passenger car sales in June rose 48.5 percent to 874,000 units, compared with 588,400 units a year earlier.
Passenger car sales were 829,100 units in May.
