Currently, there are 1.37 million automobiles in Shanghai, of which 334,000 are at the National I standard or below. These vehicles account for over 60% of the total emissions in Shanghai. It is expected that the pollution emissions from vehicles in Shanghai will drop by eight percentage points after the new measure is carried out.
