China released a detailed three-year plan to stimulate its equipment manufacturing industry, the State Council, or the country's Cabinet, said in Beijing on Tuesday.

 

China's equipment manufacturing industry lacked innovation, and faced problems such as repeated construction and undeveloped technologies, said the plan.

 

The plan aims at expanding existing market share of the domestic industry and making breakthroughs in major research and investigation projects.
