The Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce has published a list of substandard electronic and communications products.

The list, which involves about 20 kinds of electronic products, includes mobile phones and mobile phone chargers.

Among the substandard products, a UMPC battery with the trademark of C'King sold by Guotai Department Store in Liangxiang, Beijing, has been found not to reach the appropriate standards. The battery is said to be made by Shenzhen Yingke Innovation Technology Company with Jiangxi Jinggangshan Huayu Communications Technology Company being the supervisor. A representative from Liangxiang Guotai Department Store declares that none of the batteries have been sold before the check and all of them have now been recalled.

In addition, five types of mobile phones and six types of chargers have been identified as unqualified and unfit for sale.

A list of these problematic products can be found at BAIC's website at hd315.gov.cn.
