26 universities across Taiwan have joined the Oracle Academy and will integrate its Advanced Computer Science and Enterprise Business Applications programs into their IT curricula.

 

As a result, more than 18,000 students from the participating universities will access to world-class technical curriculum and gain hands-on experience with Oracle’s industry-leading database, middleware, and applications software.

 

In support of this effort, 51 teachers have received training to deliver the Oracle Academy’s technology and business curriculum in their schools.

 

Students who participate in the Oracle Academy develop vital business and technology skills, gaining a competitive advantage as they prepare to enter the global workforce of the 21st century.

 

The participating universities include Takming University Of Science And Technology, Chung Hua University, Chang Gung University, Chaoyang University Of Technology, Chinese Culture University, Fu Jen Catholic University, Hungkuang University, Lee-Ming Institute Of Technology, Ling Tung University, Lunghwa University, Meiho Institute Of Technology, Ming Chuan University, Ming Hsin University Of Technology, Nanya Institute Of Technology, National Chengchi University, National Dong Hwa University, National Taitung University, National Taiwan University Of Science And Technology, National Tsing Hua University, National Yang Ming University, National Yunlin University Of Science And Technology, Shu-Te University, Sun Yat-Sen University , Far East University, Shih Hsin University, and Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages.
