Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd., which lists shares in Hong Kong, aims to sell more than 60 percent of its annual output overseas in 10 years, the China Daily reported.

The listed unit of China's largest private carmaker also plans to start shipping vehicles to Mexico and South Africa this year, executive director Lawrence Ang told the paper. "We're positioning ourselves as a global carmaker, not just a small domestic low-end supplier," Ang said. "(To achieve that goal) we must export."
