Aveva solutions power China's energy industries
The China Plant Division of Aveva, a provider of IT engineering solutions, has secured contracts in excess of USD3m during the company's second financial quarter, ending September 2008.
China's demand for electricity has driven the growth of Aveva's solutions, which meet specialised requirements from the nuclear and thermal sectors.
China Nuclear Power Engineering, China Nuclear Power Design (Shenzhen) and Beijing Unergy Engineering have all placed orders with Aveva.
Aveva also made contracts with Sinopec Nanjing Design Institute and Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering in the process and petrochemical sectors.
