Microsoft (MSFT) China's R&D Group has formally initiated their Shenzhen Park.

Zhang Yaqin, chairman of the Microsoft China R&D Group, has told local media Microsoft will increase its investment in the development and research of mobile Internet and general hardware in Shenzhen and carry out close cooperation with the relevant industries.

Shenzhen's Standing Vice Mayor Liu Yingli says the Shenzhen Municipal Government has long been supporting Microsoft's development in Shenzhen by offering it a good environment comprised of beneficial policies.

Microsoft China R&D Group Shenzhen Park is made up of Microsoft Asia Hardware Center which was set up in 2004 and the Microsoft Mobile Internet Technology R&D Center that was set up in 2005. By virtue of its advanced technology and rich talent reserves, it will continue to provide hardware products to clients across the world.
