The Tianjin Binhai Industrial Park for Outsourced Services is planning to open at the end of 2008.

At the meeting of the 2007 Tianjin Binhai New Area Summit Forum on Development of Outsourced Services and Talent Education and Training held in Tianjin on August 1, 2007, Li Yong, director of the Management Committee of TEDA, and Gao Wei, president of the Dalian Software Park Company, signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation and announced both parties would cooperate to establish the area.

The Tianjin Binhai Industrial Park for Outsourced Services occupies a land area of nearly 900,000 square meters, which will be developed according to a world-class infrastructure standard, and the first phase, involving 100,000 square meters, will be put into use successively from the end of 2008.

As a base city for outsourced services catering to 11 countries, Tianjin has a unique geographical advantage, a talent-training system for the outsourced service industry and a comprehensive competitive advantage of a high industrial assembling degree. Now it is engaged in developing a high-tech, high-efficiency, low energy-consuming and pollution-free outsourced software industry.
