MIMS 2006 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Moscow International Motor Show and the organisers, ITE Group Plc, are proud to announce that the event is still regarded as the leading exhibition of its kind in Russia and the CIS.

This year MIMS will take place at the newly built Crocus-Expo International Exhibition Centre – Moscow’s most prestigious venue, which boasts 82,000 sqm of exhibition space, excellent facilities and ample parking. This exciting change will provide the perfect platform from which to improve and develop the event and 2006 is set to be the most successful in the MIMS series to date.

MIMS 2006 will cover approximately 40,000 sqm and we are anticipating that more than 600 companies will participate in the event. The show is now 80% booked, with many companies returning from previous years in addition to a significant number of new exhibitors. The response from national groups has again been very positive with confirmed bookings from China, Czech Republic, Italy, Finland, Taiwan, India, Spain and the United Kingdom.

MIMS 2006 covers all areas of the automotive industry with strong focus on the spare parts, accessories and components sectors. The exhibition will take place alongside Autosalon 2006 in Pavilion 1, which is an OICA endorsed event dedicated exclusively to car manufacturers and dealers. Visitor tickets will be valid for both events and the two events combined are certain to be Moscow’s top attraction this summer.
