Mazda's China deliveries fall for 3rd straight month
Mazda Motor Corp.’s sales in China slumped 11 percent year on year in July to 20,597 vehicles, the third straight monthly decline.
The Japanese carmaker provided no further details on its deliveries last month in China.
For the first seven months, Mazda’s sales in China dropped 5 percent from the same period last year to 166,436 vehicles.
Mazda assembles the Axela and Atenza sedans as well as the CX-4 and CX-5 crossovers in China.
Its fifth locally produced nameplate, the CX-8 crossover, is to arrive in the market this year.
In China, Mazda also sells the imported CX-3 crossover and MX-5 RF roadster.
