BEIJING, July 17 (UPI) -- The hit TV shows "Lost" and "Grey's Anatomy" will be seen by 10,000 high-definition subscribers in China by the end of this year, Disney said.
China's state-run channel, China Central Television High-Definition, which was launched in September, will be the first to license Disney's live-action high-definition shows, the Hollywood Reporter said.
"This is a groundbreaking deal and underscores our commitment to deliver the best television content to our clients in the highest quality format possible," said Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific Steve Macallister of Buena Vista international, a Disney company.
