China Telecom chooses Cisco as primary supplier

Cisco Systems (CSCO) said China Telecom selected it as the primary supplier as it expands its business network.
The San Jose computer network company said China Telecom will install nearly 400 Cisco 12416 routers as part of the expansion.
The network, called CN2, covers nearly 200 cities in mainland China. A company spokesman said the terms of the deal would not be disclosed.
Cisco's shares closed down 2.5% Wednesday at $19.50.
