DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (Wilmington / Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com) officially opened its R&D laboratory near Shanghai / China in April. The facility is intended to support customers worldwide in all research and development activities and is centred on an industrial scale nine-layer blown film co-extrusion line which will support the development of film structures for the packaging and industrial film markets.
