During the three-day session, 100 participants attended the event and discussed the way of CIO transformation in the era of intelligent manufacturing. Participants are comprised of e-works CIO Club elites, senior researchers and scholars, large manufacturing business executives, IT professionals etc.

The conference is organized by e-works and or-organized with Shandong CIO Alliance, Guangdong Innovation Center for Integration of Informationization and Industrialization, Guangdong Information Consumption Association, Guangxi Informationizaiton and Industrialization Center, Dalian CIO Association.

On the morning of December 24th, Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO made a speech on manufacturing business challenges in intelligent manufacturing era. He introduced Chinese manufacturing transformation tendency, from made-in-China to created-in-China, and promotion strategy of intelligent manufacturing.

Many manufacturing CIOs shared their information application and promotion experience at the conference. On the first-day session, Mr. Jingsheng Zhang, IT Department Deputy Director, GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile shared their integration practice of informationization and industrialization. Mr. Wenyan Pan, CIO and VP of Coolpad Group introduced Coolpad IT team’s core competence and value evolution. Mr. Yufeng Zha, IT and Continuous Improvement Department Manager, Yangtze Optical Fiber and Cable Company reported their understanding on intelligent manufacturing and present achievements. Mr. Shaoteng Yao, Planning Manager of Bestore Food Company shared experiences on IT transformation and team building of chain retailers. On the second day, Mr. Shuyu Li, Information Center Director of TENGEN Electrical shared CIO transformation and IT team building. Mr. Wei Gong, Information Department Deputy Director of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive introduced IT-supported enterprise core business.

Many mainstream software providers also brought their advanced products and solutions, including MJ Intelligent System, Dogesoft, QuantumAsia, FlowPortal, Epicor, Jingtong Technology, INFOR, and Ease Soft.

Panel Discussion

Later, three panel discussions and a CIO salon were hosted for discussing and sharing business information strategies and IT challenges for CIO and teams.
